Scar Treatment

Most people are not happy to have a scar when injuries, or other type of skin trauma occur. While some scars may gradually fade away during the healing process, others persist as permanent reminders of the event. Whether your scar is visible or concealed, the constant reminder of these scars in the mirror can make it emotionally challenging to heal and move forward from the trauma or surgery experience. We at Colorimplant® are dedicated to assisting patients seeking scar treatments for many years, which has led us to develop novel methods for scar treatment. This is the different subject on the page:

TX Serum

Colorimplant® TX serum is meticulously crafted with the highest concentration of natural growth factors, active ingredients, and antioxidants. This serum is selectively formulated to complement skin healing process and skin rejuvenation. We apply this serum during the scar treatment and provide it to our clients as a post-procedure product for at-home use.

Scar Needling (DNT)

Scar needling differs from regular microneedling. At Colorimplant®, we innovate the procedure by utilizing a tattoo machine with sterilized needle cartridges to draw bloodlines at the epidermis level of the skin. This triggers the brain to recognize trauma in that area, prompting the generation of collagen and elastin directly to the affected area, resulting in scar rejuvenation. Let’s not confuse this treatment with tattooing. It utilizes dry needle therapy (DNT) meaning no pigment is involved whatsoever. While a tattoo machine is necessary for the procedure, there is no ink deposited into your skin.

Scar Relaxation

Scar tissue is a type of fibrous tissue, develops when healthy tissue is damaged or destroyed due to various factors such as disease, injury, or surgical procedures.
Scar tissue is made of collagen, a protein that helps hold the body together. However, unlike healthy collagen, scar tissue is laid down irregularly, leading to reduced elasticity and strength compared to healthy tissue. Scars can cause pain, discomfort, and limitations in movement, as well as potentially lead to inflammation due to restrictions in lymph node flow. Through dry needle therapy (DNT), we can relax scar tissue, significantly reducing discomfort.

Scar Lightening

After addressing scar improvement, the last phase involves lightening the scar, minimizing redness, and achieving an even skin tone through light therapy and suitable skincare products.

Plasma/Fibroblast TX

Plasma fibroblast therapy is a skin resurfacing technique that utilizes low-frequency energy to rejuvenate the skin. This technique makes the skin firmer and tighter by inducing “micro-wound” trauma that triggers skin cells called fibroblasts to produce more collagen and prompts skin cells to enter repair mode. We can combine this procedure with Scar Needling to enhance scar improvement.

Scar Camouflage

In scar camouflage, we blend the ink and match the pigment with the patient’s skin in the scar area, then implant it into the scar. At Colorimplant®, we believe that scar camouflage should be the final option for our patients. We are dedicated to employing various methods to help our patients remove and eliminate their scars permanently because scar camouflage is not a permanent solution. Even though scar camouflage requires extensive knowledge of color theory to select the proper color and blending to match the natural skin tone for implantation into the scar area, the pigment fades over time, can change or lighten, and it is not a permanent solution. That’s why we exhaust all other options before resorting to this method.
